This user case describes how to validate that Eva Alarm detects and handles a burglary event correctly: arming/disarming (from the app and/or keypad / smart lock), countdown timers (entry/exit delay), push notifications, SMS notifications to a contact list (“friend notifications”), and siren activation (if configured). 

Eva Alarm is a subscription service that supports burglary alarm functionality with arming modes and mobile notifications, and optionally SMS notifications to selected contacts. 

Before starting the test make sure that: 

The user arms Eva Alarm (e.g., “Away”), and a burglary sensor is triggered (door opened / motion detected). 

A1 - User disarms within entry delay (no full alarm). 

A2 - User disarms after the alarm has triggered 

A3 - Invalid code / rejected action (keypad/smart lock)
